Spoof Text adalah Teks yang bagian akhirnya tidak terduga (biasanya akhirnya sesuatu yang lucu.)
Hmm.... Masih belum paham? ini ada 2 contoh dari Spoof Text, yang mungkin bakalan membuat kita semua mengerti apa sih yang namanya Spoot Text.
Contoh Spoof Text :
Mr. Ronald
Mr. Ronald was
nearly ninety, so it was often difficult for him to remember things. But he
still liked traveling very much, so he and his wife went to Spain every year.
One summer when
they were there, they went to visit a friend, Mr. Alcantara. He had two young
daughters, Angelita and Angelina. One
afternoon after lunch Mr. Ronald was talking to one of them in the garden. He
asked if Angelita and her sister had
been ill when he and his wife had been there last year. Angelita said they had been
very ill. Mr. Ronald said nothing for a minute because he was thinking. Then at
last he said he remembered one of them had died. He asked which one died, Angelita or her sister. Angelita answered it was her.
He said that he was
very sorry to hear that. Poor Man, he didn’t realized with whom he was talking
to.

Nah udah paham kan? nah , sekarang kita masuk ke Generic Structurenya. Generic Structurenya sendiri adalah :
1. Orientation, Berisikan pengenalan tokoh,setting, dll
2. Events. Berupa peristiwa atau kejadian
3. Twist, Peristiwa yang tidak terduga
Kalau mau dipisah-pisah antara orientation, events, dan twistnya. Ini saya beri contoh dari Spoof Text berjudul "It’s Time to Go to School" di atas.
